William Goldenberg

William C. Goldenberg (born November 2, 1959 ) is an American film editor .

Life

After his first assistant editor at High School USA in 1983 , William Goldenberg was an assistant editor on films like The Breakfast Club and A Girl Called Dinky for nearly 10 years before moving on to Survive! made his first independent film editing . Goldenberg edited a total of four films for Michael Mann . In addition to Heat , Ali and Miami Vice , he received an Oscar nomination for Insider for best editing in 2000. He received his second Oscar nomination in 2004 for Seabiscuit - With the Will to Success from Gary Ross , for whom he already Pleasantville - Too good to be true his cut. In 2013 he was nominated for an Oscar in the category Best Editing for working on the films Argo and Zero Dark Thirty and was also awarded for Argo .

William Goldenberg is a member of the American Cinema Editors .
