6 Underground is an American action film directed by Michael Bay in 2019 , produced by Netflix and has been available on the streaming service since December 13, 2019 .

action

An unnamed American self-made billionaire and philanthropist stages his death after witnessing the brutality of the regime of Rovach Alimov, the dictator of the fictional country of Turgistan. Under the code name "Eins", he recruited a six-member freelance group of specialists who were believed dead, whom he called ghosts and whom he also gave numerical code names.

On their first mission to Florence , the team kills the dictator's lawyer before the pack and police chase them through the city. The driver "Six" dies on the run. Days later recruited one of the Delta Force - sniper Blaine and gives him the code name "Seven". Together they plan a coup to overthrow Rovach Alimov during the Day of the Dead and replace him with his democratic brother Murat. At that time, "Zwei" had captured Murat on behalf of the CIA and handed over to Rovach.

The team attacks the yacht and activates a magnetic pulse to disable the guards. When the yacht sinks, Rovach flees in a boat. Since "Four" is in trouble, "One" orders him to be saved instead of pursuing Rovach. Rovach's boat reaches a helicopter . When he gets in, he discovers that Murat and the team are already on board. They throw Rovach out of a refugee camp and the rebels kill him.

"Drei" introduces "Zwei" to his mother. "Four" and "five" also begin a love affair. "One" travels to New York and watches his son in the park. He sets up an account that the boy can have if "One" dies on the next mission.

As announced in May 2018, Michael Bay directed. Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick worked on the script, and both Deadpool and Deadpool 2 came from their pens . The score was composed by Lorne Balfe .
