Eric Gründemann (born September 8, 1998 in Magdeburg ) is a German football player . He has been under contract with SV Elversberg since summer 2019 .

Career

After his beginnings in the youth of 1. FC Magdeburg and Eintracht Frankfurt , Gründemann played in both the B-Junior Bundesliga and the A-Junior Bundesliga , he moved to the 3rd division at Hansa Rostock in the summer of 2017 .

At the club on the Baltic Sea, he signed a working paper until June 30, 2019 plus an option for another season. He came to his first appearance in the professional team of the Hanseatic city club when he was in the starting line-up on matchday 38 in a 1-1 away draw against Chemnitzer FC . In addition, Gründemann received working times in the second team in Rostock.
Due to a serious knee injury that the goalkeeper sustained during the preparation for the season in June 2018, the young goalkeeper Gründemann was initially unable to play. He only played in the reserve team again from March 2019.
In June 2019 he signed a two-year working paper with the regional league club SV Elversberg and thus moved to the fourth-highest German division.
