Kevin Conrad (born August 10, 1990 in Künzelsau ) is a German soccer player . The defender is under contract with SV 07 Elversberg .

Career

In 2006 Conrad moved from FV Lauda to TSG 1899 Hoffenheim . There he was first used in the B and from 2007 in the A youth. In the 2008-09 season the defender was the first time for the league team actively TSG and even stood several times in Bundesliga squad . Between October 2009 and March 2010, the defender, who should make further steps in the professional team, fell due to a concussion, but was promoted to the Regionalliga Süd as champions with the second team . By the summer of 2013 Conrad had 63 competitive games for Hoffenheim and then moved to the third division Chemnitzer FC .

Here the central defender played 30 league games as a regular player in his first season, but in the end missed a few games due to a cheekbone fracture. In May 2015 he defeated the regional division FSV Zwickau with Chemnitz in the final of the Saxony Cup and also took part in the DFB Cup with the club . The season 2015/16 ended with Conrad Chemnitz in sixth place in the standings and was head coach Sven Köhler 31 Round to succeed Anton Fink appointed as the new team captain. In his last season the central defender was still a regular and won the Saxon State Cup for the second time with the team. He played a total of 126 compulsory games for Chemnitzer FC and scored two goals.

For the 2017/18 season , Conrad moved back to the Regionalliga Südwest and signed a three-year contract with SV Waldhof Mannheim . He was also able to establish himself as a regular player in Mannheim and celebrate the runner-up with the team at the end of the season. In the subsequent promotion games against KFC Uerdingen 05 , however, he was left behind with the Waldhof. As the successor to the changed Hassan Amin , the defender also became captain in Mannheim in the summer of 2018 and subsequently played a further 28 compulsory games for the club. In the spring of 2019, the direct promotion to the third division followed after the Southwest Championship. With the experience from 118 third division games, Conrad was still in the defensive network of the team and was even able to advance into the promotion ranks with her for the second half of the season.

Already two game days before the end of the third division 2019/20 season, the defender announced that he would no longer play for the Waldhof. Instead, he went to his new club, the southwest regional division SV 07 Elversberg , with which he had already signed a three-year contract in advance.
