Thomas Gösweiner (born March 3, 1995 in Leoben ) is an Austrian soccer player .

Career

Gösweiner started his career at SV Kalwang . In January 2007 he came to SC St. Peter-Freienstein . In 2009 he moved to the academy of FC Admira Wacker Mödling . He made his debut for the Admira amateur team in March 2012 when he was in the starting line-up against 1. SC Sollenau on the 19th matchday of the 2011/12 season.

In May 2014 Gösweiner finally made his debut for the professionals of Admira in the Bundesliga when he came on as a substitute for Lukas Thürauer on the 36th and final matchday of the 2013/14 season against SC Wiener Neustadt in the 76th minute .

For the 2014/15 season he was awarded to the second division club Floridsdorfer AC . After Gösweiner suffered a cruciate ligament rupture , his contract with the Viennese was terminated without having played a game for the club in the second division .

In the summer of 2016, Gösweiner switched to the amateurs of SK Sturm Graz on loan .

In July 2017 he moved to Germany to the regional league team Wormatia Worms , where he received a contract that was valid until June 2018.

For the 2018/19 season he moved to the second team of TSG 1899 Hoffenheim . After 29 league appearances in which he contributed ten goals and four assists, he moved to SV Elversberg after one season within the league , where he signed a two-year contract (until summer 2021).
