Del-Angelo Williams (born August 4, 1993 in Marburg ) is a German - American football player . He has been under contract with SV Elversberg since summer 2019 .
Career
Del-Angelo Williams was born in Marburg as the son of an American and a German. He started playing soccer at JSG Mardorf and later moved to the youth department of FSV Cappel. He then came to the VfB Marburg youth team , where he played a game in the Hessen Cup in the 2013/14 season . In summer 2014 he moved to TSV Eintracht Stadtallendorf in the Hessen League . In the following four years he played 112 league games for the club, in which he scored 50 goals as a center forward. In the 2016/17 season he was promoted to the Southwest Regional Football League with the club .
For the third division season 2018/19 Williams moved to Hansa Rostock ; he received a two-year contract with the Ostseestädtern. Under coach Pavel Dotchev he made his professional debut on the 4th matchday of the season by substituting in the 70th minute in the away defeat in Unterhaching .
Williams was able to prove himself in a total of twelve third division games for Hansa. Here he scored a goal and was also a national cup winner .
In the summer of 2019, Williams left FC Hansa prematurely for personal reasons to go to Elversberg , where he received a two-year contract.
Private
Williams' father left the family when Del-Angelo was 11 years old. He has three sisters, two of whom are older than him. Until 2015 he studied business administration at the Philipps University of Marburg , but dropped out of the course in favor of football, among other things. Then he decided on a commercial apprenticeship.
