NGC 1334 is a spiral galaxy of Hubble type Sbc in the constellation Perseus in the northern sky . It is estimated to be 195 million light years from the Milky Way and about 85,000 ly in diameter. The galaxy is considered a member of the Perseus Cluster Abell 426 .
In the same area of the sky is u. a. the galaxy NGC 1335 .
The object on was discovered on February 14, 1863 by Heinrich d'Arrest .
