NGC 1351 is an elliptical galaxy of Hubble type E / S0 in Fornax the southern sky . It is an estimated 62 million light years from the Milky Way and about 55,000 light years in diameter. It is listed as a member of the Fornax Galaxy Clusters under catalog number FCC 83 .
The object was discovered by John Herschel on October 19, 1835 .
