NGC 1363 is a spiral galaxy of Hubble type Sbc in the constellation Eridanus at the southern sky . It is an estimated 425 million light years away from the Milky Way and has a diameter of about 110,000 ly. Together with NGC 1364 , it probably forms a gravitationally bound galaxy pair.
The object was discovered on December 31, 1877 by Sherburne Wesley Burnham .
