NGC 1349 is a lenticular galaxy of the Hubble type S0 (r) a? in the constellation Taurus on the ecliptic . It is estimated to be 294 million light years from the Milky Way and about 70,000 light years in diameter.
The object was discovered by Lewis Swift on December 20, 1886 .
