NGC 1346 is a spiral galaxy of Hubble type Sb in the constellation Eridanus at the southern sky . It is around 180 million light years away from the Milky Way and has a diameter of around 75,000 light years . The object is described as a Type 1 Seyfert galaxy .
Together with PGC 13005 , NGC 1346 forms an interacting pair .
The galaxy was discovered on December 15, 1876 by Édouard Stephan .
