Woldemar Born

Woldemar Born (* September 25 in 1834 Upper Möllern ; † 11. May 1912 in Kassel ) was a German local politicians and parliamentarians.

Life

Woldemar Born studied law at the University of Leipzig and the Friedrichs University in Halle . In 1854 he became a member of the Corps Guestphalia Leipzig . In 1855 he joined the Corps Palaiomarchia Halle . After graduation, he served as a one-year volunteer . He later became captain of the Landwehr infantry. From April to July 1868 he was mayor of Delitzsch . From 1869 to 1882 he was mayor of Zeitz . He spent his retirement in Kassel.

Born was a member of the Provincial Parliament of the Province of Saxony . From 1879 to 1882 he sat for the constituency of Merseburg 8 (Weißenfels, Naumburg, Zeitz) in the Prussian House of Representatives . He belonged to the faction of the National Liberal Party .
