Lunkho e Dosare (also Lunkho-i-Dosare ) is a mountain in the Hindu Kush on the border between Pakistan and Afghanistan .

location

The Lunkho e Dosare has two peaks - a west and an east summit. The western summit has a height of 6901  m . The east summit reaches a height of 6868  m . The Lunkho e Dosare together with the Lunkho e Magreb to the west and Lunkho e Hawar to the east form the so-called "Lunkhos".

Ascent history

The first ascent was made in 1968 by an Austro-Yugoslav expedition. The Austrians Fritz Grimmlinger, Gerhard Haberl and Edi Kolbmüller as well as the Yugoslavs M. Draslar and M. Stupnik managed the first ascent of the east and west peaks of Lunkho e Dosare on August 5th.
