NGC 1345 is a bar-spiral galaxy of the Hubble type SBc in the constellation Eridanus in the southern sky . It is part of the Eridanus Galaxy Cluster , a collection of around 70 galaxies around 85 million light years away.
The object was discovered on December 11, 1835 by John Herschel .
