NGC 1335 is an elliptical galaxy of Hubble type E / S0 in the constellation Perseus in the northern sky . It is estimated to be 248 million light-years away from the Milky Way and has a diameter of about 80,000 ly.
In the same area of the sky is u. a. the galaxy NGC 1334 .
The object on was discovered by Édouard Stephan on December 14, 1881 .
