Nathan Crowley

Nathan Crowley (* 1966 in London , England ) is a British production designer .

Life

Crowley attended the Foundation Course at the Sir John Cass School of Art for a year . He then graduated from Brighton Polytechnic with a Bachelor of Arts in architecture . Eventually he started as a production designer and art director on blockbusters like Hook , as a junior set designer, Mission: Impossible II and John Carter - Between Two Worlds . Crowley's collaborations with director Christopher Nolan already count seven works ( Insomnia - Schlaflos , Batman Begins , Prestige - The Masters of Magic , The Dark Knight , The Dark Knight Rises , Interstellar , Dunkirk ). In 2017 he designed the set for Sophia Coppola's directorial debut for an opera - La Traviata by Giuseppe Verdi - at the Rome Opera .
