Gail Mutrux
Gail Mutrux (born October 2, 1945 ) is an American film producer .
Life
Mutrux began her career in the 1970s. At first she worked as an associate producer for films such as Hour of Probation or When Fate Will .
In Barry Levinson developed film production company Baltimore Pictures and produced Mutrux Robert Redford's comedy-drama Quiz Show , and Mike Newell's mafia movie Donnie Brasco . She also developed the television series Homicide there , of which a total of seven seasons were produced.
Gail Mutrux is the president and owner of the film production company Pretty Pictures .
She was nominated for Best Picture at the Independent Spirit Awards 2005 for the drama Kinsey - The Truth About Sex .
She is a member of the Board of Directors of Film Independent, a member of the Producers and Foreign Film Executive Committee of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences, and the Producers Guild of America .
Mutrux is a second married to the film producer Tony Ganz . Her first husband was the screenwriter and producer Floyd Mutrux .
