Chris Jenkins

Christopher Jenkins (born before 1979) is an American sound engineer .

Life

Jenkins began his career in film in 1979. His debut was he in the Steven Spielberg - Comedy 1941 - Who Do I to Hollywood . In 1986 he and Gary Alexander , Larry Stensvold and Peter Handford received the Oscar in the Best Sound category for Out of Africa . He received his second Oscar in 1993 for The Last of the Mohicans , along with Doug Hemphill , Mark Smith and Simon Kaye . In 2016 , he was awarded a third Oscar for Mad Max: Fury Road , this time with Gregg Rudloff and Ben Osmo . Jenkins was also nominated for an Oscar twice, in 1991 for Dick Tracy and in 2009 for Wanted . His other awards include two BAFTA Film Awards and an AACTA Award . Since 2006, Jenkins has been involved in all of director Zack Snyder's films.
