Stephen Woolley
Stephen Woolley (born September 3, 1956 in London ) is a British film producer .
Life
Woolley began his career as a producer in the 1980s with films such as Time of the Wolves , Chinese Boxes and the series The Worst of Hollywood . He has been involved in more than 60 productions so far. In 1993 he won the London Critics' Circle Film Award for Best British Producer and a BAFTA Award for the feature film he produced, The Crying Game . He also received an Academy Award nomination for Best Picture .
In 2005 he directed the film Stoned , his only directorial work to date. It's a biopic about the musician and Rolling Stones co- founder Brian Jones
Woolley is married to the film producer Elizabeth Karlsen . The couple has three daughters.
