Heiko Aufdermauer

Heiko Aufdermauer (* 1976 in Fürth ) is a German film director , experimental filmmaker, author and cameraman.

Life

Heiko Aufdermauer graduated from high school and then traveled through Africa by bike for a year. Studied theater studies at the Humboldt University in Berlin since 1998 and completed his basic studies in 2001. At the same time, he founded an emergency aid project for street children in Romania in 1998. Between 1999 and 2001 he worked at Movie.Express Film & Fernsehdienstleistungen . From 2001 to 2007 he studied directing at the "Konrad Wolf" Academy for Film and Television in Potsdam. "Time of the Fish" is his graduation film, which was nominated for the First Steps Award in 2007 in the " Feature Films " category. Heiko Aufdermauer completed postgraduate studies in Kolkata , India , in 2008/2009 . He is currently working on his second feature film with the working title "The Fifth Color", which is being promoted by the Ministry of Culture of Turkey in developing the script. At the same time, Heiko Aufdermauer produces music videos, fashion films and experimental works with his company silentfilm .
