Mac Ruth
Mac Ruth (born May 7, 1967 in Ellensburg , Washington ) is an American sound mixer.
Life
Mac Ruth began his film career in 1994 as a cable assistant and sound assistant . From 2001 he was also active as a sound mixer and unit manager. His biggest productions include The Cave (2005), Eragon - The Legacy of the Dragon Riders (2006), The Last Knight Templar (2011) and World War Z (2013). For his work on The Martian - Save Mark Watney (2015), he was nominated for an Oscar in 2016 together with Paul Massey and Mark Taylor . In 2017, a second Oscar nomination followed for 13 Hours: The Secret Soldiers of Benghazi .
