Jeremy Kleiner

Jeremy Kleiner (* 1976 ) is an American film producer . He won an Oscar in 2014 for producing 12 Years a Slave . In 2017 he received another award for Moonlight .

Life

Jeremy Kleiner began his career as an employee of Errol Morris ' Fourth Floor Productions and Kopelson Productions . He then worked as a creative executive for Richard and Lauren Shuler Donner . He joined Plan B Entertainment , Brad Pitt's film production company , in 2003 . He started there as a creative executive and quickly rose to become a producer.

In 2013, following the production of World War Z , Jeremy Kleiner was named co-president alongside Dede Gardner . He received an Oscar for the production of the film 12 Years a Slave . At the 2015 Academy Awards , he had the chance for another with Selma . At the 2017 Academy Awards , he won his second Oscar in the Best Picture category for Moonlight .
