Plan B Entertainment (usually short Plan B ) is an American film production company . It was founded in November 2001 by Brad Gray , Jennifer Aniston and Brad Pitt . After Aniston and Pitt divorced and Gray became CEO of Paramount Pictures in 2005 , Pitt became sole owner.

Dede Gardner is President of the company and Jeremy Kleiner is Co-President.

Plan B initially had a distribution agreement with Warner Bros .; From 2005 to 2013 the company worked with Paramount Pictures . Plan B then signed a three-year deal with Arnon Milchan's New Regency , with RatPac Entertainment as its financing partner . Plan B has been working with Annapurna Pictures since 2017 .

In 2015, Plan B received the Visionary Award from the Producers Guild of America Awards , on the grounds that Plan B has been inspiring creativity and innovation in the entertainment industry for over a decade, breaking new ground and stimulating necessary discussions about history and culture.
