Brad Gray

Brad Alan Gray (born December 29, 1957 in Bronx , New York City , New York - † May 14, 2017 in Holmby Hills , Los Angeles , California ) was an American film and television producer and chairman and CEO from 2005 to 2017 by Paramount Pictures .

Life

Brad Gray was born in the Bronx to Jewish parents, the youngest son of a clothing seller. He graduated from the University of Buffalo . While attending university, he became the “girl for everything” for young Harvey Weinstein , who then became the concert organizer. The first event Gray produced at the age of 20 was a concert by Frank Sinatra at Buffalo's War Memorial Auditorium in 1978. Gray traveled to Manhattan on weekends to see new comics on The Improv . He brought comedian Bob Saget to New York. Gray made Saget his first employer.

In 1984 the scope of Grey's career fell when he met manager Bernie Brillstein at a television conference in San Francisco .

Brad Gray died of cancer on May 14, 2017, at the age of 59.
