Holmby Hills
Holmby Hills is an exclusive residential area in western Los Angeles . Together with the equally upscale district Bel Air and in eastern neighboring city of Beverly Hills is Holmby Hills, the so-called Platinum Triangle ( Platinum Triangle ) indicating an area in which the super-rich, especially from the entertainment industry live. The southern part of Holmby Hills is partly counted as Westwood , while the northern part is counted as Beverly Crest .
Location and main roads
Holmby Hills is bounded by Beverly Glen Boulevard to the west, Greendale Drive , North Faring Road and Brooklawn Drive to the north, Comstock Avenue to the southwest and Los Angeles Country Club to the southeast. Benedict Canon Drive runs east of Holmby Hills .
One of the most important streets is Sunset Boulevard , which divides the area into a northern and a southern sector.
Major roads in the Northern Sector include North Beverly Glen Boulevard , Delfern Drive , North Carolwood Drive , North Faring Road, and Brooklawn Drive . The middle school of the Harvard-Westlake School is located on the area between the last two streets mentioned .
The most important roads south of Sunset Boulevard are the South Mapleton Drive , the largest home of at the southern end of Los Angeles County is located, and the Playboy Mansion harboring Charing Cross Road .
