Damir Šimac (born February 20, 1968 ) is a former Yugoslav football player .
Career
The defender Damir Šimac played in youth for SC Herford and then from 1986 to 1992 for Arminia Bielefeld . He made his debut in the 2nd Bundesliga on June 14, 1987 in Arminia's 5-4 victory at KSV Hessen Kassel . In 1988, Šimac rose with the Bielefeld team from the 2nd Bundesliga to the Oberliga Westfalen and four years later left Bielefeld with an unknown destination. For Arminia, Šimac completed eight second division games and 60 upper division games, in which he remained without a goal.
