The Damoy Point ( French Pointe Damoy ) is a headland on the west coast of Wiencke Island in the West Antarctic Palmer Archipelago . It is located half a mile west-northwest of Flag Point .
Participants of the Fourth French Antarctic Expedition (1903-1905) under the direction of polar explorer Jean-Baptiste Charcot discovered the headland. Charcot named it after the French merchant Julien Damoy (1844-1941), who had supplied the research trip with food. The Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names translated the name into English in 1951.
