Dan & Dave Buck , often just Dan & Dave , are two American magicians who specialize primarily in card art .
Life
Dan & Dave Buck are twins who discovered their passion for card art at the age of 11 . You grew up in Sonora , California and, according to your own account, dealt with the matter 16 hours a day. At the age of 15 they wrote their first book together, which contained about 50 new map techniques and ideas. When they were 16, they made a video that attracted attention. This gave them the chance to release their first DVD, which was released two years later under the title The System .
In the summer of 2003, the two were the youngest artists on the cover of the magic magazine GENII . The film producer Joe Carnahan noticed them and so they were hired as doubles for the actor Jeremy Piven in the film Smokin 'Aces . There they could be seen in all scenes that had to do with cards. Dan and Dave's hands were also featured on every episode of LazyTown in 2008 where Sportacus handled cards. They also shot a commercial for Samsung's Blackjack mobile phone . In 2009, on the Discovery Channel show Time Warp , the two demonstrated the tricks and techniques poker players use to cheat. You are the organizer of the international magic congress Magic-con . In total, they published five DVDs and also several manuscripts and downloads explaining card tricks and flourishes.
