Joe Carnahan
Joe Carnahan (born May 9, 1969 in Sacramento , California ) is an American film director , screenwriter and film producer .
Life
Carnahan wrote his first screenplay in 1995 for the film Karate Raider . He made his debut as a film director in 1998 with Blood, Guts, Bullets and Octane , in which he also appeared as an actor. He also wrote the script himself for all of the films he directed.
He was nominated for Best Director at the Independent Spirit Awards 2003 .
His brother Matthew Michael Carnahan is also active as a screenwriter.
