Joan Oumari (* 19th August 1988 in Berlin ) is a German of Lebanese football player , both as a central defender or as a full-back can be used.

His brother Hassan Oumari , who is two years older than him, is also active as a football player.

Career

Career in Berlin

Born in Berlin , the son of parents from the Lebanese capital, Beirut , began his career at the NFC Rot-Weiß Neukölln district club , where he was employed in the club's own offspring for several years. After a few years in the youth department, the defensive player moved to the youth division of the Reinickendorfer Füchse . There he made the leap into the men's team of the club for the 2006/07 season, which at that time was still represented in the fifth-class Berlin Association. Oumari was used in 22 league games, where he also scored goals in one game. At the end of the season it was enough for a third place with a clear gap behind champions Spandau and Tasmania Gropiusstadt . In the 2007/08 season, Oumari finally established himself as a regular for the Reinickendorfer Füchse, played in 31 of 33 championship games and scored five goals. At the end of the season he made it with the team after a strong title fight and the best defense in the league to first place in the table and rose under the leadership of Christian Backs as champion in the Oberliga Nordost .

Change to Potsdam

Before the team could start the 2008/09 season , Joan Oumari and his older brother Hassan, who also worked as a regular at the Füchsen, made a move to the regional league for SV Babelsberg 03 . In mid-June 2008, the brother couple each signed a contract until June 30, 2010, with only Joan Oumari extending his contract during this time. With coach Dietmar Demuth , Joan Oumari was particularly noticeable because of his "uncanny commitment, fight, but also serenity and overview for his age". While his older brother was only used sporadically, Joan Oumari acted in about half of the season's games, mostly as a substitute. In 2008 he was brought into Brandenburg's U-21 team. He was also in action this season in the final of the Brandenburg State Cup against SV Germania 90 Schöneiche , which the Potsdam team won 1-0. It was the sixth win of the national cup in the club's history.

Also in the 2009/10 season Oumari could not finally prevail in the table third of the previous season and only recorded eleven league appearances by the end of the season. His best performance was on March 5, 2010 in the 3-0 home win over ZFC Meuselwitz , where he made two assists and was declared the actual "winner of the game" at the end of the encounter. In the final standings, Oumari and the team ranked first and also had the best defense in the league, as they only conceded 18 goals. With the team, he made it to the 3rd division , the third highest division in German football . There the defensive player suddenly advanced to become a regular player and this in the professional field of all things. Although he was absent in the early stages of the 2010/11 season and on the 5th matchday against Aalen was removed from the matchday squad because he arrived too late, he established himself in the team from the 8th matchday. Initially left-back, Oumari, who played rustic, later moved to the side of defense chief Marcus Hoffmann in central defense. When Hoffmann broke his metatarsus in early March 2011, Oumari, whose strengths lie primarily in his speed and in duels, took over his leadership role.

Erfurt and Frankfurt

In May 2011, Rot-Weiß Erfurt announced that Oumari would play in the Thuringian capital from July 1, 2011 for the next two years. In his first season he immediately took over a regular position in central defense and ended up playing 29 times. After another year in the third division Oumari made the leap into the second division . He moved to FSV Frankfurt in the summer of 2013 .

Sivasspor

In the 2015/16 winter break, Oumari moved to Sivasspor in Turkey to support the first division club in the relegation campaign. He moved on to al-Nasr Sports Club in January 2017 .

National team

Oumari made his debut for Lebanon in the international match against Syria on September 7, 2013 .
