Donald H. Bain (born February 14, 1874 in Belleville , Ontario , † August 15, 1962 in Winnipeg , Manitoba ) was a Canadian ice hockey player and one of the first twelve members of the Hockey Hall of Fame when it was founded in 1945.

His short but intense career began in the 1894/95 season and ended in the 1901/02 season with the Winnipegs Victorias . With them he was able to win the Stanley Cup 2 times (1896 and 1901) . At that time the National Hockey League did not yet exist and they played in regional leagues. Bain's Winnipeg team played in the Manitoba Hockey League .

Bain's exceptional talent has received multiple awards, including a member of the Canadian Sports Hall of Fame and the Manitoba Sports Hall of Fame .

In 1949 he was honored with the induction into the Hockey Hall of Fame .
