Dan Scanlon
Dan Scanlon (born June 21, 1976 ) is an American storyboard artist and director .
Life
Dan Scanlon grew up in Michigan . In 1998 he received a bachelor's degree from Columbus College of Art and Design. He developed storyboards for the films Ariel, the Mermaid 2 - Longing for the Sea and 101 Dalmatians Part 2 - On Little Paws to a Big Star! . He has worked for Pixars since 2001 and was a storyboarder for the films Cars and Toy Story 3 . He co-directed the short film Hook and the Ghost Light and directed the 2013 film The Monster University .
Scanlon lives in San Francisco with his wife .
