Dan Shaughnessy
Dan Shaughnessy (actually Daniel Shaughnessy; born September 8, 1944 in Belleville , Ontario ) is a retired Canadian long-distance runner .
He won silver over 10,000 m at the Pacific Conference Games in 1973 and was fifth at the British Commonwealth Games in Christchurch in 1974.
At the 1976 Olympic Games in Montreal, he was eliminated over 10,000 m in the run.
In 1972, 1973 and 1974 he was Canadian champion in the 10,000 m and in 1973 in the 5000 m .
