Dan Tullis Jr. (born July 8, 1951 ) is an American actor .

Life

Tullis was seen on US television before he made his acting debut. In 1976 his family took part in the US version of Family Duel , and in 1985 he won over $ 15,000 in a game show . The following year he had his first guest roles on the television series The A-Team and Hill Street Police Station . In the years that followed, he had supporting roles in such films as Walter Hills Erased and Eddie Murphy's Harlem Nights . In 1989, he was cast for the role of Officer Dan on A Terribly Nice Family , which made him better known. Between 1989 and 1997 he appeared in 23 episodes of the series. In 1992 he played one of the leading roles in the series Rachel Gunn, Head Nurse , which was discontinued after a few episodes. After the end of A Terribly Kind Family , he had few television appearances.
