Dana Guzmán (born March 22, 2003 in Piura ) is a Peruvian tennis player .

Career

Guzmán started playing tennis at the age of eight and prefers clay courts. She primarily plays on the ITF Women's World Tennis Tour , where she has not yet won a title.

At the Pan American Games in 2019 , she was eliminated in the first round in the women's singles , and in the women's doubles she reached the quarter-finals with partner Dominique Schaefer .

In January 2020, Guzmán became youth world champion in singles and doubles. In doubles she and her partner Sofía Cabezas won 6: 3 and 7: 6 2 against the French doubles Tilwith Di Girolami and Amelie Van Impe , in singles she defeated Hina Inoue 7: 6, 6 and 6: 3.

Guzmán played for the Peruvian Fed Cup team in 2018 , 2019 and 2020 . Of her total of 11 games she won four in three lost games; in doubles, one win is matched by three defeats.
