Daniel Ayala (born November 27, 1961 in Montevideo , Uruguay ) is a Uruguayan radio presenter .

Ayala, who successfully completed a medical degree in 1991 and settled as a doctor in the city of Florida two years later , from 1989 onwards presented the Radioactividades program for CX 26 Sodre for many years together with Horacio Nigro, Daniel Muñoz, Roberto Belo and Gabriel Souto . This was voted the best program of the year for the Sábado Show in 1993 by the El País newspaper . In 1994 Ayala received first prize in a competition organized by the Asociación de la Prensa Uruguaya (APU). He also worked for CX 14 El Espectador and produced Crónicas en Color Sepia there, also together with Daniel Muñoz and Roberto Belo, who later worked for the BBC in London. In 1999 Ayala received the Premio Morsoli and was given the Premio CX in Communication by the Museo Viviente de las Comunicaciones General José Artigas . He has also been responsible for the weekly program El baúl on CW33 Nueva Radio in Florida since 2000.
