Daniel Baur (born May 6, 1999 in Edinburgh ) is a Scottish football player who is under contract with FC Spartans .

Career

Daniel Baur was born in the Scottish capital Edinburgh in 1999 . When he was nine years old, he started playing for Heart of Midlothian . Until 2017 he was active in the club's youth teams. In his year before last as a junior player, he lost with the Hearts in 2016 in the final of the Scottish Youth Cup against FC Motherwell . On November 5, 2017, the 13th matchday of the Scottish Premiership 2017/18 , Baur made his professional debut at Hearts when he was in the starting line-up in the home game against FC Kilmarnock . In December Baur came under Craig Levein for another use in the highest Scottish league against FC Aberdeen . In January 2018, the center-back was loaned out to Albion Rovers until the end of the season . He was used twelve times for the third division team. A loan to Bonnyrigg Rose Athletic followed in July 2019 . After returning to the Hearts in Edinburgh, his contract was terminated in May 2020 and he moved to FC Spartans .

National team

Daniel Baur made his debut in the Scottish U-15 against Switzerland in September 2013 . Another deployment against Poland followed a year later . In the same year he played three times for the U-16s , and was able to score a goal against Wales . Between 2015 and 2016, Baur played a total of nine games in the U-17 . In 2017 he was part of the U-19 national team .
