Daniel Carlsen (born March 27, 1990 ) is a Danish right-wing extremist politician ( Danskernes Parti ).

politics

In 2008 and 2009, Carlsen was heavily criticized in the media and referred to as a Nazi. In 2011, he described himself as a nationalist politician.

Until he left the group in 2011, he was a member of the Danish National Socialist movement , Danmarks Nationalsocialistiske Bevægelse (DNSB), and one of its most prominent figures.

On June 10, 2011 he founded his own party, the Danskernes Parti , of which he was chairman until 2017.

On November 19, 2013, he ran as a candidate in the local and regional elections for the first time. In the Central Jutland Carlsen got 1,087 votes, and at the municipal election in Aarhus 391 votes. In both cases, the votes were insufficient for entry into the municipal or regional council.

Carlsen is one of the 89 people from the European Union against whom Russia - as it became known at the end of May 2015 - has imposed an entry ban.

On June 24, 2017, it became public that Carlsen had resigned from the DP without informing party members. The rest of the party leadership then dissolved the party.
