Daniel Filtsch

Daniel Filtsch (born December 10, 1730 in Sibiu , Transylvania, † December 24, 1793 there ) was a Protestant pastor and dean .

He studied in Jena with Joachim Georg Darjes , became a teacher at the Hermannstädter Gymnasium, where he was appointed rector on April 9, 1763. In 1767 he was a city preacher for a few months, then pastor in Großau and was appointed city pastor in Sibiu on January 29, 1772.
