Daniel Hoß (* 1987 in Wuppertal ) is a blind German player in the blind soccer Bundesliga .

Career

Daniel Hoß has been blind since he was born. During his school education at the Marburg High School for the Blind, blind football came to Germany and Marburg in 2006. Hoß was there from the start. With his club SSG Blista Marburg , he was one of the first players in the Bundesliga for the blind . With the team he also won the German championship .

In 2009, Hoß returned to North Rhine-Westphalia and trained as an industrial clerk . He works in Cologne . Since this year he has been playing in the Bundesliga with PSV Cologne . He is the team captain . In 2013, Hoß were voted the best defender in the league.

In 2014, Hoß appeared twice for the national blind football team. Due to a lack of training opportunities, PSV Cologne trains on the sports facility of the vocational support organization in Düren .
