Daniel Lee Corwin (born September 13, 1958 , † December 7, 1998 in Huntsville , Texas ) was an American serial killer who was sentenced to death and executed for the murder of three women in Texas.

In 1975 he kidnapped a classmate in his high school, drove her to a remote location in her own car, and raped her. Then he dragged her out of the car, knocked her down, stabbed her in the heart area with a knife, and left her in place. However, she survived, was able to go to a street and be rescued. For this attack, Corwin was sentenced to 40 years in prison for kidnapping, rape and attempted murder, but was released early after nine years.

In February 1987 he kidnapped 72-year-old Alice Martin , who was walking near her home in Normandy. He drove her to a field in Robertson County , where he raped, choked, and then stabbed her. In July of that year he kidnapped Debra Lynn Ewing, 26, from her job in Huntsville and drove her to Montgomery County , where he raped and stabbed her. In October 1987 he attempted to kidnap 36-year-old Mary Carrell Risinger at a car wash in Huntsville. However, when she struggled and yelled for help, he stabbed the woman in front of her three-year-old daughter. In October 1988, he kidnapped another woman in her own car, raped her, beat her, and stabbed her several times. However, the woman survived.

Corwin was convicted on the basis of fingerprints and DNA traces. During his trial, he confessed to another rape of a 13-year-old girl in 1972. The girl had not gone to the police at the time for fear of him.

In 1990 he was finally sentenced to death in a Montgomery County court and executed by lethal injection in the Huntsville Unit on December 7, 1998 .
