Nicole Maurey (born December 20, 1925 in Bois-Colombes , Hauts-de-Seine , Île-de-France , † March 11, 2016 in Versailles ) was a French actress .

Life

Nicole Maurey completed a dance training and came to film around 1945. She was discovered by Hollywood in the 1950s and made several films in the United States, e.g. B. 1953 with Bing Crosby Little Boy Lost and 1958 with Danny Kaye and Curd Jürgens the comedy Jakobowsky und der Oberst . In the sixties she starred in several British productions. The best-known of these films is the science fiction classic Flowers of the Triffids (The Day of the Triffids) from 1962. Back in France, she was mainly involved in television films .
