Daniel Oberegger

Daniel Oberegger (born August 20, 1971 in Bolzano ) is a South Tyrolean composer, writer and filmmaker.

Oberegger attended the Zelig film and television school and then produced documentaries and cartoons for art associations, schools and the RAI . As a composer he worked with Francesco Valdambrini . Ritrovare for ten players was commissioned for ORF in 1998 and Welch ein Tag in 1999 , both of which were premiered in the ORF's large broadcasting hall in Vienna. Furthermore, he composed the music for the theater projects Schatten - am Abgrund der Himmel for the Welt-Alten-Theater-Festival 1999 in Cologne and I look into my garden for the festival Remembering and Forgetting - Stunts of Dementia in the Schlosstheater Moers 2005.

Further literature and theater projects were created in collaboration with Guido Moser . Oberegger published articles in cultural magazines and wrote several novels. He is a multiple winner of the South Tyrolean Sparkasse Prize in the field of prose.
