Dekel Keinan (born September 15, 1984 in Rosh HaNikra ) is an Israeli soccer player . Since 2011 he has been under contract with FC Cincinnati , of which he is also the captain.

Career

Maccabi Haifa

Between 2002 and 2010 Dekel Keinan played for Maccabi Haifa in the Ligat ha'Al in his Israeli homeland . In 2004 and 2009 he and his team celebrated winning the Israeli championship. He missed the title wins in 2005 and 2006, as he was loaned to FC Bnei Sachnin and Maccabi Netanja during these seasons . In 2008 he and his team won the Toto Cup . Haifa reached the 2009/10 UEFA Champions League with two qualifying victories over FC Red Bull Salzburg . In the group matches against Girondins Bordeaux , Juventus Turin and FC Bayern Munich , however, the team had no chance and was eliminated without points.

Blackpool FC

On July 29, 2010, Dekel Keinan moved to Blackpool FC . His new club had just been promoted to the 2010/11 Premier League and was first class again since the Football League First Division 1970/71 . Keinan played six league games for Blackpool before moving to Cardiff City on January 21, 2011 .

Cardiff City

Cardiff was active in the second division English at this time. Keinan quickly earned a place at City and contributed to the good season in the Football League Championship 2010/11 . On November 22, 2011, he moved on loan to second division rivals Crystal Palace .

National team

Ben Haim made his debut in the senior national team of Israel against Macedonia on June 2, 2007 and was later used regularly.
