Daniel "Danny" Philliskirk (born April 10, 1991 in Oldham ) is an English football player who has been under contract with AFC Fylde since 2018 .

Career

society

Daniel Philliskirk began his career in the youth of Oldham Athletic . In the summer of 2007 he moved to the Chelsea FC youth academy and signed a four-year contract there. In the academy team he was captain in the 2008/09 season and recommended himself for the reserve team. He was loaned to Oxford United for a month in August 2010 and made his debut a few days later in a 0-0 draw with Burton Albion . But this was his only game and Philliskirk then returned to Chelsea.

In January 2011 Sheffield United loaned him out for a month, but the loan period was later set until the end of the season. He had to wait until mid-April to make his first league game for Sheffield in the second half against Preston North End . He was then offered a contract for the 2011/12 season. After his contract with Chelsea expired in June 2011, he moved permanently to Sheffield United after his contract expired.

From October to December 2011 he played on loan at Oxford United and played four league games. After Philliskirk was fired at Sheffield United, he signed a contract with Coventry City until July 2013 in February 2013 . But after just one game, it was announced in April that his expiring contract would not be extended.

During the summer break he trained with the Doncaster Rovers . On August 28, 2013, he signed a two-year contract with his youth club Oldham Athletic . After Philliskirk played 38 league games and scored four goals in the 2013/14 season, his contract was extended for two more years on May 2, 2014 with an option for another year.

National team

Philliskirk made three international appearances for the England U-17 team in 2007.

Daniel Philliskirk is the son of Anthony Philliskirk , who played for Bolton Wanderers for three years and scored over fifty goals there. At Oldham Athletic he was trained by his father.
