Daniel Röhn

Daniel Röhn (* 1979 in Mora ) is a German violinist.

Live and act

Röhn comes from a family of musicians. Grandfather Erich Röhn was concertmaster with the Berlin Philharmonic , his father Andreas Röhn in the Bavarian Radio Symphony Orchestra . His mother Kerstin Hindart is a pianist; his sister Anja Röhn is also a violinist.

Röhn began his studies at the age of 14 with Ana Chumachenko at the University of Music and Theater in Munich . He was a scholarship holder of the Anne-Sophie Mutter Foundation and was nominated in 2005 by Konserthuset Stockholm for the “Rising Star” Awards. Röhn made music a. a. with the Bavarian Radio Symphony Orchestra, the SWR Stuttgart Orchestra , the Royal Stockholm Philharmonic Orchestra , the Cappella Istropolitana , the Württemberg Chamber Orchestra and the Norrköping Symfoniorkester .

Daniel Röhn plays on a Joseph Rocca violin from 1840.
