Daniel Resch

Daniel Resch (* 1984 ) is an Austrian politician ( ÖVP ). Since October 2018 he has been the district chairman of the 19th district of Döbling in Vienna .

Life

Daniel Resch grew up in Vienna-Döbling and studied international business relations at the FH Eisenstadt , graduating with a Bachelor of Arts (BA). He completed an Erasmus semester in Belgium . In 2010 he founded an event agency.

In the district council election in Vienna in 2015 , he stood for the ÖVP and moved into the Döblingen district council . From 2016 he was the deputy of District Chairman Adolf Tiller . On October 31, 2018, Tiller resigned from the office of district chairman after 40 years, Resch was elected district chairman at the meeting of the district council and sworn in by the non-executive ÖVP city councilor Markus Wölbitsch . He is the top candidate for the district council election in Vienna 2020 .

His brother is the Döblinger FPÖ club chairman Klemens Resch.

Resch is an honorary member of the Catholic student association K.Ö.St.V. Austro-Danubia in the MKV .
