Daniel Seibert

Daniel Seibert (* 1980 ) is a German chief sergeant in the Bundeswehr ( Panzergrenadierruppe ) and holder of the Bundeswehr Cross of Honor for bravery .

Daniel Seibert from Stolberg (Harz) , a professional soldier , was in Afghanistan as part of the ISAF from April 2009 to October 2010 after deployments in Kosovo . Here he served in the fast task force of the ISAF units of the regional command north in Kunduz . He found the media to be heard through his statements about the insufficient appreciation of military achievements.

On June 4, 2009, his unit was in a battle with the Taliban involved -Kämpfern when she one of the insurgents attacked patrol came to the rescue. The operation succeeded in repelling the numerically superior attackers.
