Daniel Vögeli

Daniel Vögeli (born October 30, 1977 ) is a Swiss athlete specializing in medium and long-distance running . At a height of 1.80 m, his competition weight is 64 kg.

On July 29, 2006, Daniel Vögeli became Swiss Champion 2006 in 14: 34.85 minutes in the 5000 meter run . On July 28, 2007 he was able to defend this title in Lausanne with a time of 14: 41.45 min.

In 2002 and 2008, Vögeli became the indoor Swiss champion over 1500 meters. In 2004 he took part in the cross- country championships and was ranked 73rd. Daniel Vögeli represented Switzerland several times at the European Cup. In 2005 he finished third in the Post-Cup . Along with Thomas Mullis , he also served as pace setter for Maja Neuenschwander at the marathon in Paris in 2009.

Vögeli starts for the ST Bern . His trainer is Beat Aeschbacher.
