Daniela Billig (born June 2, 1970 in Monschau ) is a German politician ( Bündnis 90 / Die Grünen ) and a member of the Berlin House of Representatives .

Cheap studied archeology, Egyptology and musicology at the Humboldt University in Berlin from 1998 to 2004 . Since 2007 she has been a member of Bündnis 90 / Die Grünen, temporarily serving as district chairman in the Pankow district . Since 2011 she has been the parliamentary group leader of her party in the Pankow district council assembly . In 2016, Billig ran for election to the House of Representatives as a direct candidate in the constituency of Pankow 7 and was defeated by Clara West ( SPD ). She narrowly missed her entry into parliament via the state list. On January 5, 2018, Billig moved into the House of Representatives after the Green politician Canan Bayram was elected to the Bundestag and gave up her mandate in the state parliament. In her group, she is the spokesperson for urban development.
